Obsession du Jour

Books
Here's a list of books that I'd love to have on my bookshelf... I'm thinking about ordering them today, but there are so many that I would go bankrupt after(thank God for Amazon and Ebay!!)

Helmut Newton

The Startorialist
Scott Schuman

Jeff Koons: Pictures 1980-2002

Alexander McQueen: Genius of a Generation
Krisrin Knox

Avedon Fashion 1944-2000
Carol Squiers, Vincent Aletti, Philippe Garner, and Willis Hartshorn

Vogue Paris Covers 1920-2009
Sonia Rachline

9 Heads
Nancy Riegelman
I had this book in college, probably an earlier edition and I lost it when I moved, I almost cried...

And the list goes on and on... But these are my current cravings... If you have any suggestions of good fashion/photography/art books please let me know, I'm a fan and a collector!

  1. Oh, Kristin Knox's book on Alexander McQueen is definitely worth investing in! I have it myself and not only are the images amazingly well selected, the text is so well written I almost burned my dinner the day I bought the book. Go for it!

  3. Thanks for the great list of books. I'm a book fanatic and am currently trying to improve my own repertoire. I think bookshelves look so chic and they really say a lot about a person. Right now my bookshelf is filled my school books and my boyfriend's chemistry textbooks. Yes I have a little bit of work to do! xx
